Spanish River Bridge

The Spanish River bridge is a 30m (100ft) steel, through truss structure designed for an Ontario Hydro service road near Sudbury, Ontario. The structure was analyzed and designed for full highway loading with full consideration for fatigue. The site's remote location created significant issues with shipping the structure after its fabrication. The truss and floor framing systems were designed and detailed entirely with bolted connections to facilitate the structure being fully assembled on site.
